okay so towns and living with groups of people sounds like a great idea yes?

    Wrong.

Now it can be a fantastic advantage if you do it correctly, for example using the claims pluggin to sub-divide your claimed area it to seperate chunks, however if you don't do this it could all go horribly wrong.

    1. Always make sure you know who you are allowing access to your items make sure that you trust them or come to an agreement on what they can take.

    2. Use subdivides to run a town so that people aren't being griefed by others or taking peoples things! As a mayor this can mKe your town be unpopular and people will not want to be there.

    3. Set some sort of order in your towns, have town admins who have complete access to the claim and can see what everyone is doing and make sure the town rules are being followed.

    Some example rankings:
    Owner:
    Admin:
    Trusted:
    Villager:
    Newbie:

(These are just ideas. Make your own up if you like and take some out if thats something else you think would be cool)

    4. Try and have players from different time-zones in your town so that when you are not on, you still have people active looking after your town and getting new people to it.

    5. Have community activites / areas, for example you could all go on a mining trip together, or have a shared storage room anyone can donate and share their stuff too!

    6. Set up a rules board for things you do and don't want in your town. Set this by the town entrance / warp so that newcomers can see what they can and can't do!

    7. Make sure YOU enjoy your town! You made it and put the effort in! If you find people are disturbing your town ask them to leave, make sure you do it in a fair way and allow them to take their stuff but just make sure your happy with your town.

Leave your town suggestions and ideas below!

    8. Have a staff member (and I mean real server staff) on your town's admin list or at least have a house there. This will make griefers think twice about griefing or raiding, as the rollback can easily spot members doing such.
