Wondering if possible we could go back to the old skyblock challenges that we had before the switch? The rewards from the new challenges doesn't seem all to great after completing 15-20 of them. I feel that it doesn't motivate you enough to keep on completing the next list of challenges as there are no new rewards unlike the last one where as the more difficult challenges were completed better rewards were given.

Well the old ones were removed because they were TOO motivating... people were abusing the challenges so they were removed. So thank a few of your fellow players for that upgrade. We will look at adding to or changing the challenges when we have the time... Currently we have our hands full getting everything back up and running properly after the "Game Upgrade" - We also have other things in the works that are taking priority at this time.

If you want a real challenge: Build an island that doesn't look like it was made on a Skyblock Server. (that should keep you entertained  )

Not a bad challenge. I will take it as a goal.

I had Simon from the Yogscast checking out one of my old skyblocks... I think he asked 3 times if it was actually a skyblock island. LOL - it was very unique... complete with an underground aquarium that you walked through glass tubes to view the squid swimming around. I think I only drown a few times building that... that was long before I found out about creative mode or world edit. Ya, when drowning on skyblock is an issue you are partway there. Oh ya and getting burnt too... one bucket of lava lit the whole island from the top of the world all the way down to the void. Dumb animals would always be spawning in bad spots and walking around on fire. The garden was in the top of jungle trees with a hanging gardens ancient feel to it... haven't been able to duplicate the whole thing since. Anyway, when you are sure your not on skyblock anymore give me a holler I'd love to check it out.

Heh, yeah I guess so. I am currently trying to expand, looking okay at the moment; also buying any amount of dirt I can get my hands on :) so hopefully the end result will look semi decent.

LOL, I didn't even know who that Simon guy was... My kid came in the room and lost a nutz when he saw who me and one of the admin were showing my island to. I will have to ask him the name of the server, it was one of those huge ones, actually the first server I played on a few years ago... one of the staff stumbled across my island and he was tping other staff there for weeks to check it out, after a while they would just long in and come directly there to see what was new. LOL, that was actually the first server I ever played on, my kid thought it would be funny to start me on a skyblock server because I was like "MG how hard can this game actually be?", he thought he was going to teach me a lesson. So I would hardly say I knew him, one of the admin on a server I use to play on either knew him or paid him to be there I guess. I've never even seen that Yogscast thing... I hear it's popular, kinda makes them famous in the world of minecraft... don't tell me normal people never 'meet' famous people. I've actually met other famous people too... some I know well, some not so much so.
