So I see a lot of people struggling for Silk Touch on Plots (Not survival, since there is the Incomp 's Maven Pick, the Silky Pickaxe, and many Silk Touch books being distributed in Rare/Heroic crates. I wanted to share what I hear with all of you guys! The Silk Touch enchantment occurs pretty commonly with Level 15 enchantments. Using Lv30 enchantments will most likely give you Fortune 2 or Unbreaking 3. If you enchant with Lv15, the enchants will change. As you see, using higher levels to enchant will NOT always work for specific enchants. For example, Protection 1 occurs mostly in Lv1 enchantments, not Lv8+.
