The only thing I can think about is that bug that deleted all entities upon loading them, when was the last time you saw them?
Well, I only just saw them gone today. But, I didn't go on the Survival server, just Plots and Creative.
I'll spawn them back for you in-game, you will need to tell me what mobs you had, where they were, and their respective quantities.
