It's odd to start a message titled "Goodbye!" with a "Hello!" so I won't do that... I'm pretty sure I've been trying to avoid this topic since I've started working on PlotsMC, then NobleCraft. But early this morning, it became my reality. But before we get into that... I'm going to start from the beginning! When I was 10 years old, I had stumbled upon this amazing server called "PlotsMC" and fell in LUST with it. Everything about it. It was my "minecraft fantasy" to put it into words. Not long after I discovered plots, had I donated to be a VIP. I had built myself an amazing plot, where people could come and roam. I had made so many new friends! And after months of playing on plots, I applied to be a helper. I was denied the first time. But before the 2 week period was up, I applied again. Putting days of work into the application. After a few while, I was accepted! I screamed and yelled! I couldn't believe it! The date was August 25th, 2012. Just weeks before my 11th birthday. For a year I'd say I was helper. I enjoyed the ability to help people with any and all problems they had. It was, once again, my "minecraft fantasy". I remember drama from Plots. Lots and lots of drama. I do miss it dearly... I also remember the rumors of the man named "Noble", who was coming to delete all of our hard work. They said that he was going to be the new owner and was going to change everything about plots. I was so scared. I was upset. I couldn't believe our beloved Coveys was leaving us. But of course, he made everything better. After Noble had taken over, and had promoted me to Moderator, I was kind of relieved. I enjoyed the changes. I built another plot, and allowed over 40 people to build on it. There they lived & thrived as one big community. It was amazing. Not long after I had been promoted, I was meeting people I hadn't known played on Plots before. I made lots of friends on NC too. But of course, with friends came drama. Let's just say there were many people upset with one another... But I'll skip over that and get right to the ending-- I've been a staff member for 2 years, 3 months and 5 days. And sadly, this is where it ends. Early this morning, at 12:07 AM EST Noble demoted me. Inactivity. Now of course, I have an explanation for my inactive period, but I don't feel it's necessary to get into that. My fun times with you all have come to a close. I stayed up 'till 3:00AM just processing & tearing up over that. But, it's only a game. I will no longer be spending as much time on NC as I had before. It saddens me to think many of us won't speak as much as we did. But it's going to be alright, right? Yeah. I wanted to leave a legacy on Plots & NC. But I feel that most of the new players will never hear of that "Kennedy girl". So. I'll leave a quote instead.... Kennedy, it is truly sad to be reading this thread. Honestly, you were the ONLY reason I even applied for helper, it was a way for me to spend more time with you and be a part of all the fantastic stories you told about NC. Over the past couple of months I have become more fond of this server more and more everyday. So I thank you for that. I thank you for being there for me even when I was a tad weird or over the top. I thank you for being such an amazing friend! I remember when we were both on plots I said in chat "I have no friends online ;(" and in seconds you replied saying "I'll be your friend!" That was the start of something amazing. Now lately we have hit a rough patch in our friendship, but I will always consider you as an amazing friend. It is so sad to have to say goodbye, so i'm just going to say "till I see you again" -
