Skyblock Airdrop Flares

Find a way to make airdrop flare jets less laggy, when I used one, and I had my entity counter on, it said 800 entities came up. O.O You should do this for those players who don't have beast computers, e.g. me. When I get 50 fps, I use one, it drops me to 10 fps, when I use 2, it drops me to 1 frames every 5 seconds, so 0.20 frames per sec for 5 seconds.

 

I mean, the armour stands are what makes it cool, but I don't know if the fireworks are neccesary. I agree with you.

 

I get 20 fps then I go down to 5 -_-

 

I have almost no lag.

 

The problem occurs because the helmet of an armor stand is smaller than a whole block. The algorithm I wrote compensates this by using 4 armor stands per block. I am currently thinking of work around to reduce the number of entities by half but I have more important things to do. Fireworks are not the issue

Yeah, the lag can be unbearable, although for me, the lag only occurs as soon as the fireworks begin.

 

Yeah, same. What Lew said is true, however, that armour stands are the main reason for lag. But the lag itself seems to pick up when the fireworks are around 1/4 down to the ground.

Exactly. What would be cool would be if we could just toggle the airplane, and it just gives us the item after a couple seconds, which could also get around the global 2 airdrop limit.

 

I agree with the people that have not so good computers i sometimes play mc on my laptop n i use my flares and i notice i get a little lag altho i run 150fps it drops me down to 100 which then it starts to lag cuz of what i all have open on my computer and what lew said is true its cuz of the armor stands which causes the entities which can cause the most lag to some players then when the fireworks start some players experiance more lag but if u just wait like a few 5-10 seconds then the lag is over which is perfect but in the future lew will make it where it dosnt lag you guys as much

A little off-topic but I think airdrops shouldn't give extra airdrops or maybe only the unique 8-airdrop reward.

Partially because when I get airdrops back I put half in a chest and use the other half.

And now that I've decided to start using all of them, I tend to get more than I use.

Not bragging in any way, just thought I'd give my two-cents.

Btw, still no Iron Golem spawner

 

And then there's me. I almost never get extra AirDrops from using AirDrops.
