It'd 1.8 and 1.9 compatible I think. Also stick with 1.8 unto Optifine for 1.9. Then allocate more ram.
As Killa stated, you don't have to be in 1.9 to play, it still runs on 1.8, but 1.9 players can now join. Honestly I still don't get how that works, but it does. You just can't use the new stuff in servers like that. :P
Yeah.... I got disconnected for trying to put something in my shield slot :3 The 1.8 server client thing probably thought I was hacking or something
