    Hello!

A new update has been applied to the survival portion of Noble Craft! What's in it, you say? Loot! Crates! OP items! Hostile mobs now drop random (awesome) loot, along with their normal drops, if they're killed by a player. If you're lucky, a crate will drop from the mob, and you can open it to get even moar lootz!

There are three tiers of crates: Junk, Rare, and Heroic (each getting progressively better). To open a crate, just right-click while holding it, and you'll get its contents! Be aware that there is no guarantee that you'll get anything good.

There are several items that crates will give you currently, but soon there will be a lot more to collect.

Now you might be wondering why these were added. It's not just for the joy of looting, it's because another will be applied Soon™. This future update will contain your worst nightmare(s), and you'll need OP items to survive.

    Good luck!

Do looting swords have any effect on the crates? or mob grinders or do they only come with the naturally spawned mobs that are not from spawners.

Maybe it will be in a mob arena or something in which you can use your own weapons.

No. Looting swords shouldn't affect mob drops (unless there's some sort of hidden code in Bukkit that I have overlooked...).

It's coded so most monsters drop random items on death. No matter how they are spawned, they will drop items.

There will be an combat mode that you'll be put in when needed. This will prevent you from using abusable commands such as those.

That's a cool idea. Seeing as mob drops are global across survival, you, the players, can create a mob arena yourselves.
