I am unable to get on noble craft this week due to my power supply being improperly engineered and nearly catching on fire after 3 repairs to keep from having to buy a new one... but here I am... ordering a complete warranty exchange on my laptop for a completely different reason. kids and their sippy cups... sometimes they just have to juggle. so when the mail gets here I'll be back on but until that time... there's 3 Dchests full of cheap cobble for sale on my skyblock island... If you want any you just have to get there before Coolboy buys it all up.
I think we are talking poorly engineered hardware / accessories... not sure what an operating system has to do with that...
This has nothing to do with operating systems and software, it has to do with the monopoly on the bulk of a particular companies computer hardware and the lack of money/care they have put into their product (ie their computers) since they have dedicated the bulk of their budget on trying to corner the market on handheld devices. And you can hardly compare a company that has one source for parts with something like a PC which is built on a companies design who (because of unscrupulous business practises) now have little control over what others make in as far as compatible hardware... Your motherboard on a mac goes and if you don't live in the US your chance of getting a new one in a timely manner at a reasonable price is slim to nil, even if it is a manufacturer's default... you don't like the motherboard in your PC you have about a million others to chose from. Competition breeds a better product, having only one source for your parts leads to cut corners/lower quality/higher prices. There is no comparison... we are talking about engineering standards not meeting an acceptable benchmark.
i honestly don't sides im just more use to pc's with windows xp or 7, because i make my computers with custom ram, mother boards, fans, ect my cousin has a mac and it really just reminds me of a giant smart device(tablet, phone, ect) but in way where its like maybe upside down in super secret settings, its still the same and still works but your use to right side up so this seems "different" and disorientates you. but the one that you used first and got use to thats the one that will probably be easier for you. just science :3
just science? - No the post is about mac inability to make a power supply for a computer that is not prone to bursting into flames for no given reason other than poor design. If you bother to read the thread you will notice that the assumption of W_I_X owning a mac was based solely on the fact of the issue. Frankly I use both, have a good comprehension of the topic and which I find 'easier for me' has nothing to do with mac's poor design. Never once did anyone from mac call me and say, 'Hey we were thinking of making our power supplies burst into flames, is that a feature that you would find comforting because it is what you have become use to with other products?'
