Survival 1.0 Is the server down? and for how long?

Just want to know if the server is down. Wouldn't let me connect last night or today.
And if you know, how long will it be down?
Also, on survival 1.8 (because I play everyday, so I don't know), Will I lose my claims if I'm not on for a couple days? I've been playing for about 2 months, been on everyday. I have so much stuff I do not want to lose. Help!! and Thx xo

I have no idea if the server is down. I notice that there are less people on right now than they are on a regular day. So I am guessing that the server is down for a few people. autumnetaylor, you should not lose your claims. I have not been on Survival specifically for a while but still have my claims. I will ask other staff if the server is down for them as well.

It seems as though we're all having the same problem... (Boo ) Turns out, our server provider is being moved, which explains the lack of people online. But don't fret, I'm sure that soon enough we'll all be able to get online. Marvanjo may be able to explain more in depth.
