Now before you read, keep in mind this is only MY oppinion, and the suggestions are just that, suggestions and nothing more. I just got back on the server after maybe two months, and man it`s dissapointing. Here`s the biggest two things that bothered me: 1)I heard the 1.8 stuff now works and that the borders have been moved so there will be chuncks with new stuff. I tried reaching those said borders and chunks, only to fail. I started hitting the border at around 3k blocks from the spawn, and I could clearly see player buildings beyound that... 2) Everything`s griefed. Lots and lots of houses, all without protections. Every biome I find is griefed and looks horrible, abbandoned houses and towns everywhere. Looks like an apocalyptic world. Now I know this has been proposed in the past, but I really think there should be a map reset. I know some of you don`t want to, but come on...this map is completely devastated. Some suggestions in case of a map reset, to keep the next map clean: make 2 dimensions, one for resoure gathering that resets once in a while by itself, and another dimension only for building, where you need to claim the land in order to modify it. That should keep the map nicer for a longer time. At this point I am considering leaving the server for good. I know no one actually cares, but whateves. I will play for another week, see how things come out, and if nothing is done, I`m out.
The claim blocks were reset months ago do to updating the plug-in, and the 1.8 update has not been implemented into Noble-Craft, it only supports the 1.8 clients.
I didn`t say I had any problems with the 1.8 stuff not being implemented. It was just a coincidence that I went searching for 1.8 stuff and found that for some reason, the border for me is much closer than it should be. I really don`t care if the 1.8 stuff will ever appear on the server. It`s just that this map is old and griefed and full of houses that will never be reclaimed and fixed because those players aren`t playing anymore. Btw, I`m glad to see that the mods are reading the threads
I was just letting you know that the borders have not been extended, so whoever told you that didn't know what they were talking about. Big changes will come soon, just stay tuned.
