So I haven't started playing yet, but I need a server that will amuse me and cure my boredom. I don't know what to say about myself. >.< I'm Brittany and I like survival. Hahah. Well if you wanna get to know me, feel free to chat me up. ^^
Welcome, brittany. I am Nick one of the older staff members here, and it's nice to meet you. If you would like to get to know me better, I am usually on survival asking people to tp to me to show them my homes. I am a excellent builder, but I like to show off a little to much
Glad to see we're still getting new players haha! Welcome to the server Brittany. I'm Mikey and I'm usually on skyblock, though I've recently been server hopping a little more Can't wait to see you around!
Sadly, I have chosen to leave this server. The reason being the "cursing" ban. I understand you can't type out the actual curse, but saying "wtfork" or "wtfudge" or even "How the heck" is NOT cursing. Many NON-MODERATOR players have yelled at me for saying these exact things in the game. Well how the heck else do you expect me to express myself? I feel like I can't even talk for fear of being yelled at for exclaiming in foods, because that's what I do IRL, instead of swearing, I say foods. But apparently on this game, foods are not allowed. Your overly and unnecessarily strict "no cursing" rule needs some tweeking a bit, because not all of us are 6 year olds. I will continue to hunt for a vanilla server. I wish you all the best of luck. This is just my honest opinion. Flame all you want. I'm waiting for it. I'm not poo pooing the server. It's an ok server. Not so bad, I've seen worse. Also, work on that lag issue. It's good for 2 days, then it just gets unbearable again.
First off -- That's not how that rule goes. You wouldn't be banned for swearing, only temporarily muted. Second, expressions such as "What the heck" or "What the hell" or completely fine. Acronyms such as "wtf" are not allowed as they insinuate actual foul language. Regardless of what word you replace it with, synonyms are simply not allowed because they insinuate the actual meaning you're implying. We don't have an issue with you expressing yourself, as long as it's in a civil and appropriate manner. One thing you're disregarding here that you've already mentioned is that "NON-MODERATOR players" have been yelling at you over it. They have no authority over you. If they treat you badly, simply report them and move on. Again, there's no point in accusing us for other people saying you're doing wrong when they aren't even of authority. It's a simple rule that has been discussed many times by both staff and players.
