Hello everyone, I'm Stormy. Many of you may know me as Pro, A moderator on the Survival server. Myself and others have recently been in favor of a reset on survival. So, I decided to make a thread on here to see what you guys would think about a reset. Here are a few reasons why a restart would benefit the survival server: 1: Better economy The prices for items would be more balanced, Making the more expensive items "worth it". For example: Beacons used to be around 5k, Now they are 1-2k 2:New players have a chance to become the richest Some players play to reach the goal of becoming the richest player on the server. A reset would give the opportunity to do so. 3:Fresh Start Some players are at the point where they are bored because they've done everything and have everything. So, i'm just curious to what you guys think of a restart. The answer to this poll will more than likely not be the definitive outcome
Maybe it would be okay if we could keep more than a ender chest and and we keep our money and claim blocks and our mcmmo stats.
1: Better economy Adjusting the prices in the market would fix the econ over time. 2:New players have a chance to become the richest So new players should automatically be put on par with the ones that have played for a year? How is that fair? If they want to become the richest shouldn't they just have to work as hard for it? Why kowtow to the instant gratification generation? 3:Fresh Start ???Some players are at the point where they are bored because they've done everything and have everything??? Oh really? I know I still have tons of work to do on Kent... and there are people around that have done more than that and have more than that? If so you are talking about 1 or 2 people and I'm sure they are the same people that would quit if you reset the server. Only good reasons for a server reset are A/ there is something wrong with the map that can't be fixed by any other means... or B/ A new update comes out and the map needs to be reset so that new blocks/content can be included in the world.
