People these days make me honestly question why I come online to build NC maps. I could be sleeping. But, I decide to dedicate a piece of my time to making something to simply provide entertainment to people like you who play video games. Builders don't get paid for NC builds, besides credit to our team and our names. We do get commissions that we get payed for, but a percentage of that money goes directly to the server. I could've said so much more, but honestly I'm not in the mood to roast up some people who complain that they don't get provided for enough on a damn minecraft server.
Just saying, skyblock 2.0 if you haven't noticed I love a lot. It's the only survival server I have played on, in 5 years of this game. Our games massively out do the generic stuff that is 90% of the biggest servers whist still staying true to the core elements of each server. Our community doesn't appreciate anything we do. So if you don't like our stuff, simple go to your genetic servers which don't give a dam about your presence because your one of 2000+ unique joins a day or stop causing drama. We put out quality content; not quantity. You all have yourselfs to blame for us not to be working on nc, some of you are really toxic and unappreciated keyboard warriors that love starting drama. Well, Theres usually about 11-ish people on, 20 on a good day, i'm sure people will start playing again when Prison and Kit come out. also when Lew starts streaming again but Lew is caught up in work.
It's not the owner streaming, it's fun seeing what Lew or Noble does with the server, kitpvp streams were amazing, not because it was Lew, because it was fun.
Fixed that for you, as I did not mention anything about money. I actually don't care where the money goes, mainly because I haven't paid NC for anything in months... maybe a year or more, so why should I care where ya stuff the money? But it's no secret that some things NC has done, it's population did not like. Between server rules and content, I'm sure half those people got tired of it all and moved on. And now with school, work, and the likes, an NC comeback most likely wont be until the summer. I said I'm still here because I like the server and want to see it evolve but I think it might be better for NC to take a step back and recreate some of their old content like the survival of 2014 (in current MC patch of course). And instead of randomly adding fancy gizmos, maybe have things like that put to vote, but fully explain the gizmos concept so voters can decide if that said server actually needs something like that. Not forum voting, in-game voting so players who normally don't look at the forums can get a chance to vote as well. As much as this new stuff is cool and fancy, it's no secret that players loved the old basic stuff. But that's just my thoughts.
