Tons of lag is happening on 2.0, so I assume everyone wants auto restarts for the server, maybe every 24-36 hours. I know theres probably going to be some problems with this suggestion because, you know, reasons. Hopefully you guys will fix the lag, or just do auto restarts, or let some SrMod's or Mods have a way to vote for a restart.
The issue that everyone is forgetting is actually diagnosing the lag issue. You can't find out what's lagging the server if it's not lagging, restarting the server doesn't fix the lag issue, it just sweeps it under the carpet for a small amount of time.
Well, until it's fixed, restarts sound good. I heard you guys know what's causing lag, and I hope you guys fix it soon.
Restarting doesn't help at all in the end, as Tom said it's only temporary. If you guys are complaining about lag, my suggestion is try to actually cut down on the entity and chunk loading intensive farms you guys have and everyone on the server can have a better time, it may not help substantially but it's worth it to give it a try for the sake of the server.
I guess some people didn't like the idea of making new memories because they were so caught up in the old ones, that's why some don't give Survival 2 a chance. I actually really liked the server, I still do. I'm just focused on this huge exam I have coming up.. but as of now I think there should be an AFK kick, it really doesn't look good when half the server is AFK. There should be another way for players to make money, slightly faster than jobs. Also I agree with what davidnutt10 said earlier on Survival 2 yesterday. I'm probably not going to congratulate someone who has a high rank that got there solely by AFKing all day, not much effort was put in. Most likely there will be some negative reactions but this is not what ranking up and becoming the best is about, you all should actually try working. I promise you, even if it is tedious, you'll feel 100% better knowing you did all that work.
