Idk how or when but 6 of my villagers (all of them) were killed or taken as well as my iron golem during an afk session i was afk from 10:15 pm - 6:35 am my time zone is (UTC-8:00) Pacific Time (Us & Canada) if an admin can being back my villagers and needs proof i cant provide any but anyone who previously have gone to my base knows that i had them. Update: I had Kaye Look arround my village and 2 villagers died by zombies but the 4 are unkown
If any blocks were placed/destroyed then they can find who it was if someone did something. Are you sure they didn't just despawn? I heard something about them despawning if you used a name tag on them. (Correct me if I'm wrong) Idk if this would work etc but you could record while you AFK and if something is missing/broken you have it recorded. Just delete the video when you're done with it if you need space.
this wouldn't have been the thing because as far as i know Passive mobs don't despawn but your probably thinking of zombie villager and no nothing despawns with a name tag equipped as well my character was loading the chunk so the villagers shouldn't have despawned if that was the case and if anyone thinks that they died to any zombie i had an iron golem guarding the village that cant escape the walls
Stupid question but it's claimed right? Regarding name tags, that's just something I heard from someone in game. It's a glitch. I haven't tested it to see if it's true. None of mine are name tagged and none have despawned. I don't know what to say. Sorry
I went and took a look around and just because you have walls up around a village doesn't make them 100% safe. There were a lot of places within your enclosure that were able to spawn mobs. And as long as someone has that chunk loaded then you have a chance of a mob coming a killing everything. The iron golem and the villagers were killed by zombies. So unfortunately we are unable to give them back. Your safest bet when you have villagers is to keep them completely cut off from the world. By that I mean you NEED to have them closed in completely and with ALOT of light. If you think its enough, put more light in for a safety measure.
