Useful Commands

Useful Commands​

I have a few commands that I think should be added to the server! They can be interchangeable between donation and player commands!
Player Commands:
/itemdb allows you to get the minecraft ID for that item in your hand

/ignore blocks other players from pm'ing you useful for people to not start arguements with each other

/tptoggle allows players to choose whether or not to be teleported to

/advert command allows you to advertise your warps for a money cost once a day

Donation Commands:
Commands /thru and /j
/j: teleports you to where ever you are looking at when casting the command
/thru: allows you to go through the wall a certain number of blocks in the way you are facing

/top allows you to go to the surface of anywhere you are in-case your stuck in a hole

/spawner change the given spawner to a different one

/tppos allows you to teleport to certain coordinates

/flyspeed 1-10 allows you to fly faster

/drain <radius> allows you to drain lava or water

/fill <radius> allows you to fill in water

 

/itemdb: Sounds like a good idea. I like this one. Upvote
/ignore: We actually removed this to encourage people to report those who were causing trouble in pms, if I recall correctly. I don't see it coming back. Downvote
/tptoggle: Again, a useful command to help fend off tpa spammers. Upvote
/advert: A creative idea, but ehhh... People can just advertise their warps in chat anyways for free. Downvote
/j: There's Quick Jump items which you can get fairly easily with some mob farming which is essentially this. Downvote
/thru: Too op, it can be used to get into places you shouldn't be. Downvote
/top: Sounds useful in the Overworld, but not so much in the Nether, as I fear it will likely put you on top of the bedrock ceiling, which is programmed on here to essentially be the void. Downvote
/tppos: No. As mentioned with /thru, this can be easily abused to get to places you shouldn't be. Downvote
/flyspeed: This can be used to load lots of chunks in very short amounts of time, which can cause a lot of lag on the server. Downvote

/drain and /fill: No. No players or donors will get WorldEdit. Downvote

Don't let the amount of downvotes in my opinion scare you though, some of these were pretty interesting.

All of these commands are genuis

 

I agree except for /tptoggle, as it will make it not possible to /tp to people as a staff member.
/itemb is already here as the same command but written as /iteminfo.

 

A staff member could just use /tpo <username>. As it overrides your preference.

 

Not all staff members have access to /tpo, but it would work.

 

a few other suggestions:
/clist (or some slightly different spelling) - could give you a full list of available commands and potentially the rank needed to use said command
/ilock or /itemlock - would lock an item so you can't drop it by accident (would need to press Q again?)

 

Didn't we already have the /itemab or whatever it is? because i remember finding the ids for enchanted books

If you type /iteminfo it shoulds the id so no need to /itemdb

 

I do like some of them HOWEVER most of them are way to OP. Especially the donor commands

it would only be once a day (24-hour period) not more spammy than auctions
