Whenever changing from 1.8 to 1.9 always make backups of your worlds. As you can see, it corrupts them. I'll look it up and see if there is a way to fix it. Try going into your .minecraft folder and deleting all 1.9 versions. Go into logs and delete only today's log. WARNING: Don't delete all your logs! If you delete all of them all chests and other things will be empty! Try turning down your render distance. When I turn mine high it does something like that. Sorry about your worlds!
That looks horrible. I went to test 1.9pre2 for kicks and giggles and I love the new block mob. I can see myself making tons of traps with those homing sparks.
February 25 is what most are saying. The current snapshot is "1.9 Pre-2". So it's very close to release.
Is this world generation or is this your graphics messing up? I used to have something that looked like this when I changed my render distance.
probs graphics, i do have a powerful pc but it cant run 1.8 and up on single and muliti so im using a crappy dell laptop from ebay soooooo......
