So lots of NC staff know- there are no such thing as "reach hacks" in this current version that is applied to the network. However, there are those kids who think that EVERYBODY is reach hacking just because of their ping or something. Let me give you a shorter story. I was playing a couple games of UHC (Speed UHC, not the 3 hour ones), and I got lucky both rounds, with golden apples and a couple pieces of diamond gear. The last round I played, there was one guy left and he wanted me to let him live. I built my house because I was suuuuper bored, and he came in to attack me. I locked myself in this 1x1 space with a place to jump and hit. I kept hitting him over and over by jumping. Once I won, all the spectators were spamming "lmao reach hacker i report you". I'm like... There's no such thing as reach hacks. This just makes me cringe because people act like they know. I mean, it's a good thing they don't, because we can assure they don't hack/ know what is in clients.
That's impossibrew!!! I use reach hacks all the time, they seem to be working just fine. (Lol just kidding.. or am I?)
Bad poll, no, in theory reach hacks don't exist. There is no hit that a reach client can make that a regular player can't. But the reach client can make it so it always hits the maximum distance, and due to hit box stretching and general Minecraftness, you can't always hit these. You'll see this if someone gets a combo, you can't hit back somehow. Sometimes sure, the person being combo'd will be above and from basic trigonometry, the arm of the person below will be closer to the nearest point of the enemy. But not always, what a reach client does is cuts this probability out, sure, they technically can't reach further, but they never can't reach maximum distance. So, yeah, I've never used reach hacks, and technically they don't work in the conventional 'increase-your-reach-distance' way, but they do still have an effect. Breaking your poll, I know that reach hacks do work, just not as you'd think, yet I've never touched them.
I have been on a professional hack finder team, reach hacks do exist. I use hacks (single player only) in my survival world I made to see how op it is without anti cheat. In multiplayer I don't hack anymore, if you see any reports of me hacking, that was before.
Tom you may not be a hacker... but your cousin nedthefed is. He'll teach you more about hacks than you will ever learn from anyone else.
KillaD1, Single player is different to Multi Player, just because a modification works there doesn't mean anything. And, CookieLuv_, not him again! D:
My sister actually thinks nedthefed and Tom are 2 different people, Tom Pearson when I told her "nedthefed" got admin she freaked out because he's a "hacker".
Sorry, forgot to mention I used it in multiplayer (on my private server with lots of anti cheat) and reach hacks works. O
