SURVIVAL UPDATES! It has been a while, huh? Hey, guys. I've been teasing some images of upcoming features for the past few days, and I'm pleased to announce that these very features are now live on Survival! The most important update is the addition of a little thing we call Lockboxes. Their animations are the same as the Mystery Boxes in our Prison server, as Lew_ was so kind as to let me use them. Here's a rundown of what they do: Upon your first login of the day, which is anytime past 12:00 AM CT (Central Time Zone), you will receive one Lockbox Use. This doesn't stack--if you log in after two days, you'll only receive one Lockbox Use. It costs one use to open a Lockbox. You may find a "Lockbox Voucher" in Heroic crates, which, upon right-click, adds one Lockbox Use to your account (this allows you guys to sell Lockbox Uses). There are five tiers of Lockbox Items; Common, Uncommon, Rare, Unique, and Exquisite You may view your amount of Lockbox Uses with /uses. Lockboxes will contain holiday-themed items, if any. The time is ripe for your item suggestions to be implemented into the Lockboxes! Make sure you pass on your ideas to me! If it gets added (it probably will), I'll put your in-game name on the item's lore. To get started with Lockboxes, use /warp lockbox in-game! There are also a few lower updates; Added Claim Requisitions to the crates Added Lockbox Vouchers to the crates Updated message color scheme (now green and gray!) Added /lag (try it out!) Minor bug fixes LOST MONEY OR CLAIM BLOCKS? Make a bug report here. We'll get to it as soon as we can. And that about wraps it up for this update. First! I like this update, makes survival less boring in my opinion, and adds a little luck and chance to the game
A couple ideas the you could ponder are something to do with the mcmmo levels for example 1 to 5 levels added to a random or players choice depending on what tier you get of course. In game money would be nice. Or for exquisite tier to get a spawner (spider, skelly, zombie, ect.) Enchantment books (infinite, flame, looting) What would be awesome would be an axe that would increase the rate for sapling to drop from trees! (hint hint) What about if you get so many lock box vouchers be able to trade in for a drop party (like 50 or what not because it would be really op). These are some of my ideas. Buffed the drop rates of Lockbox Vouchers, and they can now be found in Rare crates Added Spare Change (common), Free Loan (uncommon), Tuition (rare), New Car (unique), and The 1% (exquisite), which are all items that give you money upon usage [Kudos to lauren_sue for the idea!] Buffed the token output of crate coins Fixed lore issue in the claim requisitions Hotfix against players who stayed online past midnight Used awesome psychic powers to fix a bug before it even occured Buffed the drop rates of Exquisite items by an insanely-small amount (you're welcome!) Added Tom's Redstone Manual (uncommon, +50 levels in random McMMO skill), Incomp's Coding Handbook (rare, +75 levels), Lew_'s Coding Sketchbook (unique, +100 levels), and John's Backend Trilogy (exquisite, +200 levels) [Kudos to lauren_sue for the idea!] Considering mechanics (maybe donors get more uses daily?) Added Lockbox Vouchers into the Lockboxes themselves--you can get an uncommon three vouchers, unique ten vouchers, or an exquisite 20 Fixed some NPE's Made a changelog to post on this thread.
