I've had this before and it's a bug with logging onto a server, then joining a different one quickly after or something related to that.
The reason for that glitch or bug is because if you've been on a server with certain notifications and you join one quickly then those notifications are still able to be seen. It also occurs sometimes just out of the ordinary, No Explanation. I would suggest restarting your game but if you're fine with those notifications then you don't have to. Same as to what Tom said.
