So recently there was an exploiter by the name of Coz who abused a glitch that allowed someone to duplicate rails by placing them on slime blocks and having pistons push those slime blocks back and forth. Staff was able to fix the glitch by making it to where you can no longer place pistons near rails. However, i see this as a major issue when it comes to some Redstone builds I have been working on. Time and time again I've had to scrap them because i cant place any piston near a rail. However, I have an Idea. What I believe can solve this issue is to simply make rails not able to be placed on top of slime blocks. This would remove this whole problem easily instead of making it harder for a Redstoner like me to build. I really hope you guys take this in consideration and change it soon.
This was the initial idea, however, a player can simply place a piston next to a rail that pushes the rail onto the slime block.
Well this sucks, thats how I got all my money, I spent 100k on a farm and then I noticed you can't place rails by pistons.
how about making rails not sell-able in shop, or simply limiting the amount of rails you can have in your inventory at one moment?
If you make them not sellable and are able to place them next to pistons, they would still be able to duplicate them and they would be "worthless." You would be able to have infinite rails. Limiting wouldn't work because you could just toss them into a hopper or chest.
