Update #1: Survival 2.0 is now out! Join at /survival-2! Hello, We know you have been eagerly awaiting the announcement that Survival 2.0 will be releasing. Well, that's what we'll be talking about, and also what's to come for the future of both Noble Craft, and Survival as we go forward. First off, let's talk about Survival 2.0 and what you can expect to see when you first set foot onto the months of work that has been put into this version of Survival. By now, you've probably heard from us that at least once uttering about Survival 2.0 being our best iteration of Survival that we have ever done. This statement doesn't go unjust, but this is a genuine statement that I hold myself to when I say it. Survival 2.0 is a culmination of years of experience in the server industry, and expertise in both frontend, and backend development. From the small features such as Player Tags, all the way to the big features such as Drop Parties and Lockboxes; they all come together to finally bring an experience to our community that we have always hoped we could bring, but were not able to in the past. Survival 2.0 will launch with the most content we have ever brought to any server that we have ever made, and our hope is that we can keep Survival 2.0 going just as long, if not longer than what our current Survival server has current lasted for. The intention of this is to bring many new features to the server post-release that you can enjoy alongside what you already have. So what are these features? Well, let's find out! Rank System In previous versions of Survival, and our other servers, we had some kind of progression ranking system. Unfortunately, when we moved to global ranks at the end of 2014, this meant we had to abandon what we had as our old system was no longer compatible with our new ranking system. However, we now have a brand new alternative to this, which also works with our current ranking system! From the get-go, Survival 2.0 will have a progression-based leveling system that come complete with new features and perks for reaching primary ranks! At this moment, there are currently 103 levels for you to get through. These can all be viewed through our brand new revamped help menu, but we'll discuss that later. Below, you can see the cost to rank up against the total cost. Market One of the most requested features for the current Survival server was an Admin market. Prior to our current version of Survival, we had a player market, which turned out to be a massive success. However, this didn't translate too well, so that was eventually shut down and replaced with the casino, meaning that there were not places for either an Admin market or player market. However, we heard you loud and clear. From launch of Survival 2.0, there will be a fully-fledged Admin market at spawn with almost every item, including 1.9 and 1.10 items! Arenas As mentioned above, Survival 2.0 will contain the most content that we have ever launched with a brand new server, and we have multiple arenas to show you! Making a return in Survival 2.0, Mob Arena is back and is better than ever! As with our current Survival, we have customised everything from the wave types, to the bosses, to the kits, and so much more! Next up, we have the return of a heavily requested arena. We're happy to announce that we have a dedicated PvP arena built into the spawn itself! This arena will be a drop-in, drop-out arena that anyone can enjoy. Another major design choice we made with PvP on Survival 2.0 is that it will contain only 1.8 combat! This means that no weapons will require a cooldown in the PvP arena, and any other arena in spawn! For those that prefer 1.9+ combat, don't fret! 1.9+ combat is still around in the regular world. If there is enough requests for 1.9+ PvP, we look into creating a separate PvP arena specifically with 1.9+ combat. Lastly, I am glad to announce that a community favourite arena will be making a return. That arena is Spleef! We know a lot of you older player have been requesting for this arena for a long time, and it will finally be returning in Survival 2.0! Drop Parties They're finally back! Wait, 'They'? That's right! Drop Parties are returning, but even better than ever! Rather than a single Drop Party that was pre-defined by our Developers, Lew_ has developed an even better system that allows us to create our own Drop Parties wherever and whenever we like! What makes this even better is that it allowed us to address a major concern a lot of you who purchased Drop Parties in the past had. When you purchase a Drop Party, it will now be stored on your account, to which you can enable whenever you like! So be sure to give Lew_ a massive thanks for creating this new amazing system! This is just a small amount of content that we have on Survival 2.0, but we'd like for you to explore those features for yourself! The only reason I am happy that this post was made is because that means it's closer to Skyblock and Prison.
This will be an amazing way to spend finally being done with the summer camp I am helping with tomorrow, even if my voice will likely be dead and I will be extremely tired.
