Hello, everyone! Glad to see you here on Noble Craft today. This is a rather large scale update regarding server rules, so I've broken it down into sections so that it is easy to read and reference. Content Rules (Minor part) It has come to the attention of NC staff that people sometimes post with a particular effort set aside focused on making their post unreadable. This is now reason enough to get your post removed. Reason being, it's annoying to read, it does not add valuable content to this forum, and, most importantly, it does not allow for proper communication within this community. We are not going to be very hard on grammar rules, ever. However, if we deem that someone is specifically writing their post in a manner that makes it especially difficult to read, it will be removed without warning. Continued breaking of this rule will result in your posting privileges suspended temporarily, and eventually permanently with repeated rule breaks. If you are wondering what I am referring to, it is when: Spoiler "ppl tipe lyke dees" Punishment System Update This is something sounding as a result of personal inspection of the rules, the punishment system found within this network, and the actions of past offenders. The punishment system, upon creation, was incorrectly named. It is more of a "push you in the right direction" system. Long, convoluted name, we know, but you get the idea. We don't actually like punishing our players. The reason the punishment system exists is to give players a second chance. The system, in its present form, has been misused entirely. People know how the system works and as a direct result of this, are never corrected and the bending of the rules happens continually. The present system worked as follows: Informal warnings are followed by formal warnings, which are followed by an actual punishment classified by severity (SEV_1, SEV_2, etc.) based on your punishments accrued in the last month. So if you were to "work your way up" to a SEV_3 chat offense, and then you broke another chat rule 30 days later, you would be given an informal warning—more or less. Note: Informal warnings are not required—they are more for people who have genuinely made a mistake and are used ad hoc (executed or established for a particular purpose only). The new system works as follows: Informal warnings are only given to those who have been a member of the server for one week or less. Anyone after will receive a warning for anything that would normally require warnings. We are making this change because it allows us to see if a person has been warned before. Our reasoning behind that is it allows us to make better decisions later on. In regards to expiry time, we are now going on the basis that if you break the rules again within 90 days, you will be stepped up an infraction level. For each 90 days you do not break the rules, you step down an infraction level. The punishment system already gives a very fair amount of chances to everyone, this new system will hopefully remove abusers of the old manner of doing things. Best regards, Ace

Continued breaking of this rule will result in your posting privileges suspended temporarily, and eventually permanently with repeated rule breaks. If you are wondering what I am referring to, it is when. 1. First off reading is good it increases the readers vocabulary and improves their reading speed. 2. Post should not be removed if found unreadable if is hard to read then the better it is for the readers mine. 3. If long post are to be deleted them practically all the staffs post will be deleted, peoples post are meant to get into detail the readers get all the information they need.
We are not removing posts created by people who are incapable of writing anything better, we are only targeting those who attempt to create post content which is specifically altered to be harder to read. We are referring to slang, gross mispelling and the like. A typo here and there is not going to qualify you for post removal. Additionally, we mentioned nothing above removing posts of a specific length. I strongly recommend re-reading the original post.
None which were created prior to this rule being stated. However, further posts of that kind would be removed.
The thing is all the post that are like that can be really important for certain things you could delete important information.
This is a very smart subject to touch on, I agree on your statement about people's posts. Thank you for the information.
The only punishments factored into any future punishments would be within the last 90 days prior to it. So, if you were spamming ingame today, for example, and you had 3 previous offenses for spam, one being 6 months ago, one 2 months ago, and one being only 1 month ago, only the 2nd and 3rd ones would be factored in, as 90 days is ~3 months, rendering the first one being too far back for being factored into your punishment. It would be your 3rd offense, basically.
