This didn't fit on a profile post, so I am putting it here. She's emo? You'd cut too, if you've been through what she has. She's anorexic? You'd be too, if everyone called you fat everyday. She's a show off? Her parents abuse her, & she's never heard a praise. She's loud? She's invisible at home, & she wants to be heard. She's quiet? She's afraid to speak, because she's afraid to get made fun of. She's fat? She eats, because she misses her dad. She's a geek? She wants to get into collage, so she can support her poverty-ridden family. She's ugly? Tell me, what is the definition of beauty? Who are you to judge them? You know their name, not their story. REPOST if you're against Bullying. I bet 99% of you won't. Prove you're that 1% ♥ .:Reposted: From RealMasterMatt5
Although I'm against bullying, I've experienced it first hand, and even worse had my friends experience it without being able to help, posts like this aren't created with intention to stop or help bullying. They don't even raise awareness, since I'd be surprised if people didn't know it went on.
Just reasons why you shouldn't be bullying. It just gives you a good feeling when you pass this message on and spread the word about it.
First off bullying will always be a thing, especially since the internet is a thing and you can do it while keeping your anonymity. But anyway here are some counter arguments to you claims: 1. She's emo? You'd cut too, if you've been through what she has. Not all people who are emo cut. Emo doesn't mean you are going through emotional problems. 2. She's anorexic? You'd be too, if everyone called you fat everyday. That is not how anorexia works. This video explains how it really works. 3. She's a show off? Her parents abuse her, & she's never heard a praise. Or her parents give him/her extra praise and she/he cannot handle the fact of not being the greatest. 4. She's loud? She's invisible at home, & she wants to be heard Or he/she is just loud, some people are just loud, like me 5. She's quiet? She's afraid to speak, because she's afraid to get made fun of. Or she just has low self worth, which can be fixed in therapy. 6. She's fat? She eats, because she misses her dad. Or he/she has an eating disorder. And why the "because she missed her dad." part that's a huge generalization to say all people who are fat miss their dad. 7. She's a geek? She wants to get into collage, so she can support her poverty-ridden family. There are no words to describe how dumb this is. BUT I'm gonna do it anyway. So anyway, no, just no. A geek is some one who enjoys Video Games, Comic Books. being on the internet, and etc. I guarantee you that the majority of people, IF NOT ALL the people who use this site identify as geeks! And I guarantee you that they are not geeks because they are poor. 8. She's ugly? Tell me, what is the definition of beauty? Ok! being beautiful is basically being healthy looking. The most primitive goal of all organisms on earth is to reproduce to continue their species, that is why they want healthy looking mate. A healthy mate will be more likely to have a healthy baby. More evidence to back this up are these pictures: http://prntscr.com/9wkgfa and http://prntscr.com/9wkh8m. The first one is a beautiful woman in the Dark Ages, and the second one is a beautiful woman today. As you can see the first one has a woman who is fatter and the second one is skinnier. In the dark ages it was hard to get fat because there was a shortage of food and the majority of people were poor. In the second picture the woman is skinny, this is because today you can go to mcdonalds and get fatty food, you can get fat without even trying. Though I am 100% against bullying, that post was complete crap. No offense Kyle.
It's sad but no matter how many times or how many people try to stop bullying, it will happen. Honestly I've experienced bullying so much, I don't feel like waking up every day. People underappreciate the word peace, you wouldn't know peace without chaos. You need to know chaos to know peace. People shouldn't harass others, but it wont stop. The message you shared basically says that you don't know everything about someone, so don't act like you do. Some people do this to inflate their ego, some do it so they wont become the victim.
I always personally take things with a pinch of salt, I don't consider someone saying rude things disrespectful, I don't think someone doing something wrong makes them a bad person. I understand people have bad days, and so if someone lashes out at me I don't ever do anything back, if it's physical, I'd only restrain them, but usually it's verbal or through non violent actions, and I find it best just to let it go. I usually just try to remember someone's doings, because at least then you'll know if it was a one off, or if there's an issue. You do also run into the issue where people don't realise their harmless joke is too far for the recipient. I was bullied by one guy for 6+ years regarding my sexuality and gender, but he never realised it was bullying. He stopped after someone told him it affected me, but I did really learn from that experience even some of the people who do the most harm to you, may not even be out to get you, they may not even want to hurt you, and may not think they do. So I have a tougher skin towards it. I see offense as "They probably don't mean it." and I ignore it. Which is probably why some players think I dislike them when I have nothing to hate them about.
Rules are rules Then we talked on TS and that changed, you were like woaaah he has a lot of chocolate power
