    Pvp will be the same. Watch Tenebrous (ItsTene's) video. 1.8 pvp is going to be the worse it gets. Mainly considering hit detection, knockback, range, criticals, and pursuit combat.

    That's true but no one smart uses kill aura anymore. Usually ghost/invisible clients with smooth aimbot, kb reducer, or range increment.

    Ping-based pvp is only 1.7...
    Unless players are using regedit, there is really not an excuse to lose in 1.8. Latency is pretty balanced on NC (Besides for players with Arabian wifi). 1.7 hit detection was dependent on ping, that's why..

    Nope, not for me. My ping never goes below 100, and it cost me several sets of gear on KitPvP. However, i try to make up for it with strafes, it's all I really got going for me.

    I'm definitely looking forward to 1.9 PvP, there is literally so much more customisation available for PvP now, and it requires more skill than who-can-break-their-mouse-the-quickest
