Enable explosives!

    So yeah... Explosives should be enabled. Why, you ask? I want to make a natural-looking cave for a build I have an idea for. I feel TNT helps natural caves because I have symptoms of OCD and if I mine it out myself, it will be a square. Something I came up with is that developers removed that ability because it lags the server, so maybe 2 blocks of TNT at a time, or something like that to prevent lag, because if you don't know, TNT is basically a lag machine. Lol.

    A couple flaws with your plan, someone could make a tnt cannon, and break other people's claims/plots. And even if there is a limit of 2 tnt, people can put it in a dispenser and just continue firing it off. It is a good idea, but it's got some flaws to be worked out, if this plan ever comes to light.

    I see....
    For the cannon idea: Whoever places the TNT or puts TNT in the dispenser, that TNT can only break that player's plot.
    For the dispenser idea: basically covered above, so whoever places that TNT, that person's plot is vulnerable to those TNT blocks.

    Meh, if someone were to grief you by making TNT explode, I don't think core protect could roll it back..

    That's the thing, only if you place that TNT, will it be able to explode your plot.

    I'll say some things that WE as developers can prevent.

    Pretty easy to stop someones TNT breaking another players plot, it would only break your own complained land. Could even make it just explode only land that you as the TNT placer and detonator destroy.

    Can also tag the TNT from a dispenser as the player who set it out from the dispenser.

    I'm pretty sure CoreProtect logs tnt explosions, so that shouldn't be an issue.. But if the system works like above, I'm pretty sure no rollbacks will happen as you are the one who made the explosion and caused the damage.

    Well, if you make a TNT cannon to grief an adjacent plot, but it backfires and blows your own plot up, sucks for you, suffer the punishments.

    The only thing i'm worried about is griefers, and not just ones griefing other people's plots. Even without TNT, griefers aren't exactly rare, you'll see the occasional person complaining they were griefed, and with TNT, that could get significantly worse.
